Hello, Cheryl here, and I am back to talk a little more about something I love!
Senior photo sessions are all about showing off your personality and creating timeless memories. For those fashion lovers out there, it is an opportunity to choose your look and have fun, but for most it can be a potentially stressful decision. My goal in working with seniors is to create a comfortable environment so they can relax and just have fun with it.
Here are some tips on what to wear to look your best:
For a Polished Look:
Solid Colors: Stick with solid, neutral, or pastel tones that complement your skin tone. Avoid loud patterns or logos—they can be distracting.
Layering: A blazer, cardigan, or denim jacket can add depth and interest to your outfit.
Well-Fitting Clothes: Make sure your outfit is tailored and comfortable to help you move naturally during the shoot.
For a Timeless Style:
Classic Pieces: Dresses, button-down shirts, or blouses paired with nice pants or skirts create an elegant vibe.
Accessories: Minimal jewelry, a nice watch, or a hat can enhance your look, but don’t overdo it. Let your face take the spotlight!
For Personality and Fun:
Show Your Hobbies: Bring a sports jersey, musical instrument, or something that reflects your passions.
Layer In Texture: Think leather boots, knit sweaters, or silk scarves for a little extra flair.
Seasonal Vibes: For spring, go for light, airy fabrics. For fall, warm earth tones or plaid always work well.
